Automation Anywhere - Engineering Director (15-20 yrs)
Director of Engineering :
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Director, Engineering will be a senior technology leader. Successful candidates will be the person who is committed to performance, can handle multiple projects under varying priorities, a very pleasant personality who can work with engineers by rolling up their sleeves.
Job Description :
- Serve as primary architectural authority for all engineering driven solutions
- Lead daily software development effort, including all required monitoring and reporting progress against critical product roadmap timelines and milestones
- Ensure forward thinking in core technical competencies such as scale and quality
- Ensure optimal application of technology resources to meet product development requirements
- Ensure quality scalability and security of core product and platforms
- Manage multiple parallel development work streams from concept to design and implementation and ongoing refinement
- Clearly articulate technology to business leaders and executives
- Collaborate with the business team, customer support and other stakeholders.

Experience :
- Proven track record of 15+ years of progressive engineering experience, with 8+ years in a significant leadership position managing large tech teams (>30 people) that designed, developed, and launched complex software solutions.
- Bachelor's / Masters Degree(s) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical area.
- Experience driving multiple development teams in an aggressive, Agile environment.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully hiring, motivating and retaining talented Engineers
- Experience building large scale enterprise applications; Open Source and relational database expertise;
- Experience across a broad spectrum of applications and languages (C++, Java, Javascript, Linux, multiple databases)
