Australia and New Zealand Bank - Associate Manager - Risk Reporting - Retail Business (3-8 yrs)

Role Purpose:

This role focuses on supporting Retail Businesses with their Risk Information requirements including engaging with business partners to drive simplification and standardization of information delivery amongst the wider Risk audiences and business teams, leading the training and support of business partners, ensuring they understand risk concepts and the available tools as well as providing ad-hoc reporting and analytics support to a variety of stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

- Deliver high quality analytical outputs in a timely and accurate manner with minimal rework required

- Employ strong problem solving skills to determine the appropriate response to information requests, pro-actively addressing any issues and concerns

- Manage the provision of simplified, consistent, efficient, cost-effective and value-adding risk information delivery services

- Engage key stakeholders to ensure full understanding of business partner requirements, helping to shape deliverables within the broader risk information delivery strategy

- Develop and maintain collaborative business partner relationships, managing expectations and concerns through open, regular communication lines

- Follow and implement an enterprise approach and methodology for risk information delivery, ensuring it is embedded across risk business partners, through training and educational toolsets

- Drive improvements in delivery of risk information and/or solutions that create and support process efficiencies as a result of new systems and data sources

- Work collaboratively and share knowledge across teams

- Ensure policies and processes relevant to the role are complied with

- Quickly resolve and escalate issues

Skills, Knowledge& Experience:

- Portfolio risk reporting experience using SAS/SQL, mid to high-level knowledge of Excel. Specific BI tools experience preferably QlikView or QlikSense being an advantage

- Appropriate tertiary qualification including but not limited to: Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Mathematics, Engineering, and Systems Information

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and confidence with engaging and presenting to senior management

- Strong problem solving, data management and analytical capabilities

- Excellent time management - the ability to prioritize conflicting issues in a professional/risk based manner

- Output driven and able to operate under strict timelines and ensure accuracy of information presented
