Aurigene - Finance Controller

Role: Finance Controller.

Location: Bangalore.

Desired Profile: Qualified CA or CMA with 4-8 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Management & Invoicing:

- Analyze agreements with customers to align invoicing and revenue recognition.

- Raise invoices to customers based on contractual agreements.

- Ensure that all pass-through costs are billed to customers as per contractual agreements.

- Perform aging analysis of receivables and follow up with relevant teams on outstanding customer payments.

Monthly Book Closure:

- Ensure all financial transactions (accruals, provisions) are posted before period end closing.

- Sales and Distribution (SD) vs Financial Accounting (FI) Reconciliation.

- Operating Expenses Analysis - Budget, Actual, Trend, One-Off expenses, Latest Estimates.

Capex:

- Prepare Business Cases for the new capex proposals incl obtaining approvals as per DoA.

- Monthly reporting on the Capex Budget Approved, Spend and Latest Estimates.

Financial Reporting:

- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and local regulatory requirements.

Taxes:

- Support in GST Monthly and Annual Returns (GSTR-1, 9 & 9C).

- Manage and lead the tax audit process for the Company.

- Prepare Advance Tax & Income Tax Computations.

- Handle tax assessments, notices, and queries from IT authorities.

Audit & Compliance:

- Ensure zero audit observations in Internal, Statutory and Tax audits.

- Ensure SOX and SOP compliance with proper documentation.

- Ensure timely compliance of IDPMS, EDPMS, ORM and MTT.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong SAP knowledge for financial transactions and reporting.

- Excel proficiency for financial analysis and reconciliations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
