Regional Manager Branch Banking Basic Information:&nbsp; Position Title : Regional Manager Branch Banking Vertical : Liability Location : Bangalore Business : Retail Banking Business Department : Branch Sales Organizational Relationships : - Position Reporting to : Chief of Branch Banking - Direct Reports if any : Cluster Manager Job Purpose : &nbsp;Qualification : MBA in marketing from a reputed college &nbsp;Relevant Experience : 15 -22 years of experience in any reputed Indian bank Functional Competencies : - Aware of Banking regulations, products and sales structure. - Field oriented person, but should be able to track MIS &amp; Analytics and do course corrections as required Behavioral Competencies : - Selling and negotiation skills, ability to identify new prospects and strive to achieve given target - Excellent Execution skills. - Excellent leadership; - Coaching; communications - Understand the nuances of Digital economy; - Strong business acumen and an intimate knowledge of the marketplace Job Responsibilities : Financial Responsibilities &amp; Non-Financial Responsibilities : - Manages several retail banking branches to ensure that revenues and asset under management (AUM) growth and customer base growth are as per the state business plan. - Develops and builds relationships with high net worth customers as well as critical customers - Capitalizes on cross-sell opportunities and helps plan and organize sales promotions in coordination with the branch manager and manager marketing - Monitoring financial transactions and Overseeing the efficient day to day processes. Responsible for generation of revenues through sale CASA, TD and Third-Party Products - Preserving a professional environment, Preparing reports and forecasts - Dealing with customer service and satisfaction/Delight. - Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives. - Maintains and expands customer base by counselling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities. - Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service charges; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors. - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks. - Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed. - The position will also ensure a smooth coordination and delivery with the colleagues on the assets side of the business. - People Management Trains, motivates and handles career planning for staff - The position would be the owner of the assigned set of branches and would be involved in hiring, training and retaining of employees would be a key task. - Hiring new team members and continuously assessing employee performance - Pursuing lifelong professional and educational development Compliance &amp; Risk Responsibilities : - Ensures that all risk parameters applicable to Retail banking in the state are met with - Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and satisfactory internal audit - Ensuring compliance and security procedures are adhered to
