Brief Objective of Position & Its Contribution to the Business :

- The role will require driving and managing Operations Process of Bancassurance related to all banking channels to do insurance business, Operation process management - New Business Process, Renewal, Claim and Quality, along with various Insurance partners.

- Ensuring the business quality, establishing robust process controls, creating risk model for relevant process, proper process in place for the scalability and profitability of the vertical in coordination with Process Leads and Business Stakeholders.

Manage Operations Specified of Insurance Business:

- New Business

- Customer Service

- Service Requests - Policy Servicing

- Plan and Achieve New Business Nos.

- Per Branch / Cluster / Region Productivity / Issuance tracking

- WIP Management - Maintain & Tracking of conversion ratio

- Ensure Business Quality

- System UAT and Process Improvement

- Control on Premium Receipting and Banking

- Tracking of Renewal Business

- MIS Management

- Ensuring SLA adherence and SLA tracking

- SP Code Mapping and SP wise Business Tracking

- Liaison with Training / L&D team on Process Training to branches and Employees.

- Ensuring New Business Process tracking and Adherence to SLA by Insurers

- Tracking Business Quality by putting strong controls

- Engage with internal Audit, regulators to ensure regulatory compliance.

- Keep Management updated on regulatory development and market dynamics

Performance Measures:

Measure Deliverables from the role Key Outputs/Results from the Role :

- New Business Login to Issuance Conversion

- Customer Servicing with Customer delight

- Service Tracking and closure with in specified TAT

- Process and SOP creations

- Regulatory Compliance - 100%

- Audit Handling and ensuring Nil Audit Observations

- Regulatory Reporting

- Achievement of Annual operation plan channel wise and partner wise

Job Specification (Competencies required to perform the role)

Qualifications Ideal candidate should be a Graduate, preferably Management Graduate with an overall work exposure of at least 8 -12 years.

Experience:

- Overall Candidate must be from Insurance Industry.

- Has the ability the manage the team and business stakeholders.

- Must be thorough with the Insurance Operations Processes

Functional Competencies :

- In-depth understanding of the BFSI industry with ample exposure to Insurance Industry & an out-of-the-box thought inclination to effectively tap opportunities within or outside to enable business/

- Strong relationships and networks within the Insurance and Banking

- Ability to create robust win-win value propositions and strategic fit for all the stake holder

- People & leadership skills is essential as the candidate is expected to lead a team and be a part of several cross functional projects

- Should be good at stakeholder management and cross functional teamwork. We liaise with different stakeholders across the bank to execute campaigns such as compliance, marketing, IT, electronic banking channel and distribution channel

- Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and verbal communication.

- Strong presentation skills. Inclined towards process controls and customer orientation.

- Capable of working independently and having responsibility as an individual.

- Passionate about business results, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership.
