Job Description: Digital PR Specialist for Executive Education Business
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and strategic Digital PR Specialist to join our Executive Education team. This role is instrumental in enhancing the visibility and reputation of our programs within the digital landscape. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of public relations, content marketing, and online communication strategies to effectively promote our executive education offerings to diverse audiences.
1. Digital PR Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital PR strategy to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate positive online coverage for our Executive Education programs.
- Identify key online media outlets, blogs, influencers, and platforms relevant to the education and business sectors.
2. Content Creation and Distribution:
- Craft compelling and newsworthy press releases, articles, blog posts, and other content to promote executive education initiatives.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital PR materials.
3. Media Outreach and Relationship Building:
- Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and online influencers to secure media coverage and guest posting opportunities.
- Pitch relevant stories and ideas to media contacts, responding to inquiries, and coordinating interviews.
4. Online Reputation Management:
- Monitor online conversations and mentions related to our executive education programs.
- Respond promptly and effectively to comments, reviews, and inquiries to maintain a positive online reputation.
5. Partnerships and Collaborations:
- Identify and engage potential partners, industry associations, and thought leaders for potential collaborations and co-marketing opportunities.
6. SEO Integration:
- Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure that digital PR efforts contribute to search engine optimization goals and improve organic search visibility.
7. Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to digital PR campaigns, such as media coverage, website traffic, and backlinks.
- Provide regular reports on campaign performance and insights to inform future strategies.
8. Crisis Communication:
- Develop and implement strategies for handling potential PR crises and negative online feedback, working in collaboration with the communications and marketing teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience in digital PR, content marketing, or online communications, preferably in the education or related industry.
- Proven track record of securing media coverage, building media relationships, and executing successful PR campaigns.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and their integration with PR efforts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging content.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms for media monitoring, social listening, and analytics.
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying PR opportunities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
