You'll be our: Finance lead - Electrical & Electronics

You'll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru

What you'll do at Ather:

1. Work with swim lane members to assess the BOM cost for new parts/concepts & assemblies as well as redesign of existing parts & assemblies

2. Identify cost reduction/optimization opportunities across all cost drivers (part cost, assembly cost, logistics cost, packaging cost and other overheads)

3. Ability to work collaboratively as well as influence without authority to ensure the right decision making

4. Apply first principles thinking for every financial decision/activity in swimlane meetings

Here's what we are looking for:

1. Good understanding of electronics and electrical manufacturing processes - PCB, PCBA, Box builds, wire harness manufacturing

2. Well versed with product development process/lifecycle in a hardware company and involvement of commercial decision making in every step

3. Prepare zero based costing of PCBA and harness assemblies

4. Expertise in should costing for Electrical & Electronics like PCB & PCBA (actives, passives etc)

5. Must have good Knowledge of SMT components & technology

6. Adept at should costing/zero based costing and pricing through competitive quotes. Prior experience in component engineering and electronics purchase will be highly valued

7. BOM preparation and understanding of MBOM

You bring to Ather:

1. 2-5 years of experience in product companies and adept in agile way of working.

2. Part of cost transformation and (or) cost take out projects

3. BE in Electrical/ Electronics
