Core Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Planning:

- Assist the CEO in developing and executing the company's strategic vision and plans by providing data-driven recommendations.

- Identify potential opportunities and threats in the market and analyze the company's strengths and weaknesses to inform strategic initiatives.

2. Project Management:

- Coordinate and manage special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outputs.

- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information, facilitate communication, and ensure smooth project execution.

3. Competitive Intelligence:

- Monitor industry news, events, and competitors to understand the competitive landscape comprehensively.

- Develop and maintain a database of competitor profiles, including their strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and market positions.

4. Research and Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and other relevant topics to support the CEO's strategic decision-making.

- Synthesize complex information from multiple sources to create clear, concise, actionable insights.

5. Internal Communication:

- Collaborate with various departments across the organization to gather relevant data and insights for the CEO's strategic initiatives.

- Communicate research findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on strategic objectives.

6. Confidentiality and Compliance:

- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive company information.

- Ensure all research and analysis activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

7. Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry experts, partners, and other external stakeholders to gather valuable insights and support the CEO's strategic initiatives.

- Represent the CEO in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with external parties.

8. Other Duties:

- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the CEO in support of strategic objectives or company operations.

Qualifications and Competencies

- Master's degree or another advanced degree in a relevant field such as business management or social sciences.

- Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in a mid-management role in corporate planning and strategy building. Preference for experience in Consulting firms with expertise in market research, business analytics, data analytics and reporting.

- Proven ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders within and outside the organisation. Should be comfortable in working with multicultural teams across countries and time zones.

- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks and balance competing priorities effectively and efficiently, often within a required timeframe.

- Proven ability to be flexible, responsive, and adaptive to shifting priorities.

- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation experience to high-level audiences in English.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements:

- This position requires successful completion of a reference check and employment verification.

- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.

- Only candidates who have India work authorization will be considered.
