Astravise is looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team. The incumbent will be an integral part of the firm, working with the partners on business development, researching and pursuing new business leads. The position will use strong communication skills to develop proposals and presentations for customer acquisitions. Responsibilities: 1. Customer 1.1. Creating and maintaining a prospective client database. Understanding target markets and devising marketing strategies for new leads 2. Competition: 2.1. Develop strong competition tracking 2.2. Evaluating competition offering and feeding back to Firm's service team. 3. Industry: 3.1. Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors 3.2. Keeping abreast of the Firm's products and services. Feeding back industry development into the Firm's offerings 4. Firm: 4.1. Prepare proposal development, focusing on the Astravise value proposition, key differentiators, and win themes 4.2. Meet specific business relationship goals at assigned accounts and report and measure progress against quarterly goals with Firms partners 4.3. Manage business opportunities at assigned accounts to help ensure Astravise is positioned to capitalize on opportunities by providing solutions which meet the client's needs. Additional Deliverables: 1. Develop relationships with Business leaders, CXOs, Managing Directors and Founders in start-up ecosystem (start-up companies, VC and PEs) 2. Generate opportunities through research and networking, orchestrate the pursuit process and manage overall relationship building 3. Coordinate relationship building activities with appropriate network partners, engagement managers, subject-matter professionals, and Managing Partners on the engagement team(s) to ensure they are well advised on important matters 4. Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations. Qualifications: 1. MBA Finance / Marketing from a reputed institution, Qualified CA / CFA 2. Minimum 5-6 years of relevant, demonstrated business development and / or consulting experience including the management of large accounts, preferably in a Big 4 accounting firm or major consulting organization 3. Exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence including developing and leading relationship building activities with CXOs 4. Demonstrated success in identifying, initiating, driving new or on-going business opportunities including exceptional negotiation skills and ability to close deals. 5. Excellent communication skills, written and oral, are a basic requirement for the position 6. Proven organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting 7. Willingness to travel regularly
