Assystem - Senior Manager - Accounts

Position: Senior Manager - Accounts.

Location: Gurgaon.

Reports to: CFO.

Department: Accounts & Finance.

Job Overview:.

- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Manager - Accounts to join our finance team.

- The ideal candidate should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 10-12 years of hands-on experience in accounting and budgeting.

- This role will be pivotal in managing the accounts' function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:.

Accounting & Financial Reporting:.

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with local accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

- Supervise the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring all necessary entries are made and reports are finalized within deadlines.

- Ensure proper documentation and reconciliation of all financial accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

- Review and approve journal entries, bank reconciliations, and other accounting entries.

Financial Controls & Compliance:.

- Implement and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements.

- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and implement recommendations for improvement.

Budgeting & Forecasting:.

- Collaborate with senior management and department heads to prepare annual budgets and forecasts.

- Monitor actual performance against budgets, identify variances, and provide corrective action recommendations to management.

- Provide insights into financial performance, profitability, and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements:.

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional accounting qualification.

- Experience: 10 -12 years of experience in accounting and financial management.

Technical Skills:.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, IGAAP), financial regulations.

- Proficiency MS Excel.

- Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
