Job Description:

Position - Strategic Project Management

Reports to - COO

Location - Delhi

Client - Our client is a young, dynamic, visionary company in the Indian credit markets. Our client realizes the growing needs of Indian companies, by offering to be their credit partner, in their pursuit of scalability & aspirations. In addition to the corporate lending business, our client also operates a housing finance, asset management & consumer finance company & an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

a. Lead project management process for HFC and NBFC business to drive analysis on projects in collaboration with business teams:

i. Identify needs from the business, prepare a business plan, suggest appropriate implementation approaches and techniques, and get buy-in from the Leadership team.

ii. Drive end-to-end execution of strategic/business-level initiatives in collaboration with business functional teams.

iii. Conduct benchmarking on best operational practices in NBFC/ HFC to implement in our organization.

iv. Lead Resource planning -collaborate with Business heads/ Function Heads depending upon the criticality of the project to finalize resource planning and its implementation on high-impact projects.

v. Assist in establishing a financial roadmap and continuously monitor matters pertaining to internal efficiency in terms of costs, productivity, and competitive benchmarking.

b. Act as an SME - Support and provide direction on ad hoc project requests coming from the respective business.

c. Drive the periodic project management and review process for HFC and supports the COO in driving review for NBFC.

d. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in key business processes.

2. Operations Strategy & Planning:

a. Leverage information from industry/other NBFC and HFC players about the latest industry trends and practices around operations:

i. Financial benchmarking & comparators

ii. Gather business intelligence through networking for HFC/ NBFC

iii. Advise the COO with trending practices; create proposals for buy-in from Senior Stakeholders and drive its implementation independently.

b. Understand the business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps, and assessments of potential business impacts.

3. MIS Framework & Stakeholder Management:

a. Understand the changing business needs, re-design MIS and drive analysis from time to time.

b. Ensure that the MIS framework is executed in the right spirit.

c. Develop presentations for management and stakeholders on business operations and developments.

d. Drive a high degree of engagement with multiple Stakeholders like Business Heads, Function Heads, Channel/Business Partners, and lenders across businesses (HFC & NBFC) while building and maintaining relationships with Leaders and their teams.

Qualification - MBA (Preferred)

Big 4 experience with NBFC/Banking clients preferred.
