Client has immediate job opening as per details:

Position - Associate (Reporting to Finance International Tax - Vice President)

Job Location - Gurgaon

Qualifications or Experience - Graduate/Post Graduate with 6-8 Years

Summary : Maintenance of technical proficiency on all matters of corporate income taxation, and the development of a solid technical understanding of matters of partnership, state and local, and international taxation, is highly important to the successful performance of this job.

MAIN PURPOSE:

- Prepare and Review international provision; prepare and review US reporting of non-US affiliates (Form 5471s, Form 8865s and Form 8858s); assist with international aspect of special projects.

- Prepare and review Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, 8865, and other international tax forms (including preparing E&P adjustments and Schedule M’s)

- Assist with preparation of Subpart F and foreign tax credit calculation

- Assist with preparation of income tax provision and evaluation of uncertain tax positions in accordance with FIN 48

- Assist with IRS international audits

- Review the work of Tax Analyst as needed

- Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning initiatives

SPECIAL SKILLS:

1. Must have excellent legal research and writing skills, and must be prepared to present evidence of same during interview process.

2. Must have advanced computer skills, and be familiar with Microsoft business applications, and other tax and financial applications. Experience with corporate tax preparation and partnership tax accounting software will be considered a plus.

3. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, and must be developing organizational and supervisory skills.

4. Must have strong team handling skills and should be able to plan schedules for team according to priority and keep the managers updated on day to day business.
