Associate Treasury Risk Role - Private Equity Fund (2-5 yrs)
We are looking for an Associate Treasury Risk role for a Global Private Equity Fund based in Mumbai.
Position Overview
Our Client is looking for a candidate with an analytical/quant background to support its Risk function. The open position is with the Risk Hedging and Special Projects team within the Investment Risk function, which would give the candidate an opportunity to provide hedging solutions in FX and interest rates among other asset classes to organization Credit, PE, Real Estate and Infra funds, as well as Organization Portfolio companies. The candidate would be responsible for analyzing and actively tracking the underlying FX and Interest Rate exposures and work on creative cost-effective solutions to appropriately hedge those exposures. The candidate would also have opportunities to work on various ad-hoc special projects that may arise from time to time.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Identify and Analyze FX and Interest rate risk exposures and generate necessary trade recommendations
- Build, Enhance and validate new and existing pricing models and analytical libraries
- Generate cost-effective hedging strategies to appropriately and effectively hedge the Risk exposures
- Liaison with stakeholders, including PMs external banking teams and Operations to provide Pre and Post-trade support including ISDA negotiation and develop relationships with banks among other activities
- Address ad-hoc requests pertaining to Risk Hedging, Risk Analytics, Valuations, etc.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Math or Engineering or MBA/Master's in Finance - previous experience with FX and interest rates preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Analyst/Associate: 1-3/4-6 years of total experience in the relevant domain
- Experienced and proficient in MS Office Suite, including VBA
- Strong work ethic, shows initiative and deep desire to learn and strengthen individual skillset
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload
