Associate/Specialist - Market Intelligence - Life Sciences Management Consulting Firm (3-6 yrs)

Our client is one of the leading life sciences consulting firm that provides strategic and tactical insights to clients worldwide. Blending consulting services with research capabilities, they specialize in corporate strategy, pipeline & portfolio optimization, brand planning, market analytics, promotional effectiveness, and licensing & acquisition. They are based out of Boston, MA, and with offices in New York City, Princeton, San Francisco and Gurgaon.

They are currently seeking a Market Intelligence (MI) Associate/Specialist to support their strategic advisory(SA) teams with research support activities.

As part of a collaborative team, your responsibilities will include:

- Develop competitive intelligence reports for products, disease areas or companies in the life sciences industry

- Conduct secondary desk research using multiple data sources (Cortellis, clinicaltrials.gov, analyst reports, others)

- Create dashboards and reports using Excel and Tableau, and translate research data into findings for SA team members

- Communicate and present research findings and reports to SA team members

- Manage time and client deliverables effectively with regular communication to SA team members/PMs

- Set up standard CI practices and SOPs within the company to help scale up the function over time

- Collaborate with the Knowledge Management and SA team members to develop and implement the SOPs for CI/secondary research support

Position Requirements:

- Degree with high academic achievement; major in health sciences and/or demonstrated interest in life sciences is a plus

- 3-5 years of research experience in consulting, research organizations or related fields

- Strong oral and written communication skills in English language

- Deep proficiency in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PPT, and Outlook); Foundational knowledge of MS Excel is required; knowledge of tableau is a plus

- Detail-oriented with superior organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines and manage multiple priorities
