Associate - Shared Services

We are looking for a Shared Services Associate with an asset management organisation for their Mumbai office.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Support data team manage reference data (rating, pricing & market data)

- Review and validate initial setup of both public & private securities, including scrubbing credit agreements and final deal closing documents

- Assist / work with team to compile reporting / data requirements across various business units (i.e. Fund Accounting, Investment Accounting, compliance, deal team, etc.) and work with technology group as required

- Run metrics on key performance indicators

Requirements :

- Strong fixed-income product knowledge, particularly bank loans

- Complete understanding of all market practices and industry standards for reconciliations.

- Knowledge of Geneva accounting system, Wall Street Office (WSO), & ClearPar preferred

- Should be proactive and ready to accept various challenges.

- Strong written and verbal communications skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)

- Knowledge of complex fund structures a plus

- 4+ years relevant operational experience

- Experience working with custodian banks

- Experience in loan servicing and data setup

- Experience in cash/position reconciliations

- Critical thinker, strong analytical skills, and initiative to increase knowledge
