Associate/Senior Associate - Strategy Consulting - Big4 (1-6 yrs)
About the client / team
We have been mandated by the Deals team of a Big 4 advisory firm to help them onboard Associates (1 to 4 y) and Senior Associates (5 to 6 y).
The team primarily advises two sets of clients -
1. Private Equity funds - services include:
a. Industry / market assessments
b. Outside-in / limited commercial due diligences
c. Full scope commercial due diligences
d. Portfolio company performance enhancements
2. Corporate Clients - services include:
a. Industry / market assessment studies
b. Feasibility studies
c. Target search / screening
d. Growth strategy - organic / inorganic
e. Business plan development / validation
f. Joint venture / partnering strategy
g. Commercial due diligence
h. Synergy assessment
About the role
KRAs
1. Anchor engagement work streams independently
2. Guide and develop junior team members in preparing analysis plans (for example, hypothesis / issue trees), conducting research and preparing findings
3. Take ownership of key strategic and financial analyses such as market sizing, competitive benchmarking, business plan testing, financial modeling, deal risk / upside analysis, strategy development
4. Lead client discussions in association with other engagement team members
5. Lead proposal creation efforts
Desired Experience
1. Management consulting experience with a research / consulting firm
2. Specific consulting / industry experience
3. Experience in Deals will be a definite advantage
4. Desired Educational Background - MBA from a Tier 1 institute
