Job Responsibilities:

As an Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the Risk Management group in understanding roles and responsibilities in ensuring compliance with the policies, the maintenance of governance documentation registers, and reporting on overall compliance across the group.

This role will require an understanding of data processes and the need for robust governance and policies and the ability to translate these into requirements. You'll help identify opportunities for enhancements of processes and controls and get to use your strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You'll be responsible to manage and monitor the system register for timing of data retention or disposal globally, manage a register of end user developed applications and manage a register of self-serve analytics workflows. You'll liaise with divisional stakeholders on requirements and assurance activities per the system, ensure records management requirements are implemented as part of data in change and perform re-assessment of resource requirements for management of shared systems data.

To be successful in this role, you will have a keen interest to build your career in the data governance related field within the financial services industry. Ideally you will possess 1-3 years of strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills as well as a Bachelor's degree qualification with strong academic performance and prior education in Engineering, Business or Finance. Experience from compiling reports and implementation of governance policies will be favourable.

In this role you'll use Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) so experience with these tools will be preferred. Any experience with Collibra (or similar) would be an added advantage.
