Associate Product Manager - FinTech (3-4 yrs)

Responsibilities:

Detail out product requirements:

1. Identification of main stakeholders and their use cases.

2. For each use case, identify the main scenario, alternate and error scenarios based on Behavior Driven

3. Development (BDD) framework to create a feature document

4. Identify impacts other downstream systems - Reports, Reconciliation, Partner Banks etc.

5. Provide success & acceptance scenarios for each use case.

6. Sign off the deliverable before it goes live

7. Assist Product manager in verification of tech deliverables before they are rolled out to production.

8. L2 support for the reported tech issues

9. First point of contact to asses issues coming in production. Assess severity and priority to the issue. Provide workaround (wherever available) to the stakeholders

Accountability:

Primary: For every JIRA ticket raised as part of the product requirements

Write scenarios based on BDD framework as part of the feature document

Secondary: Tech support coordination and analysis

Skills:

Business

- Must know how to write a PRD

- Must be able to think exhaustively on any use case provided

- Basic business acumen expected

Tech

- Must have working knowledge of how tech products work

- Must understand the software development lifecycle

- Working knowledge of MS Office, SQL, JIRA (bonus)

Design

- Must understand basics of UI/UX design

- Must be able to define usability tasks of tech products

Soft skills

- Good at communication with varied stakeholders

- Convincing power

- Meticulous documentation skills

- Must be a people's person

- Problem solving aptitude

- Excellent work ethic

- Ability to talk to customers and drill down to actual user need gaps

Background


1. Anyone who's worked with tech products specs in any capacity

2. Anyone who has had a strong background in data analytics (and wants to to pursue product management as a career)

3. People from a startup/tech background preferred
