Associate Product Manager

What you will do:

- Be an integral part of Product team responsible for end to end product functionality and also ensure product suite meets its revenue goals

- Own and drive the technical vision by working very closely with the engineering teams to ensure that we build our products in a way that extends our merchant reach and maintains a relentless focus on improving, simplifying and unifying the customer experience.

- Develop a clear, prioritized product roadmap, interpreting the needs of customers and internal stakeholders into new capabilities.

- Work with Capital Float leadership and cross-functional teams to define and lead strategic initiatives

- Solve underwriting for massive credit under-served and new to credit customers by leveraging alternative data

Key focus areas for this role:

- Conversion

- Constant optimization of conversion rates through our on-boarding funnel

- Exceeding benchmarks and targets for merchant engagement from first contact to relationship management

- Work with compliance/risk team members to ensure a compliant merchant journey, which balances conversion and aligns with overall strategic goals

- Ongoing Technical Change and Prioritization:

- Groom the product roadmap to be leading and competitive with responsibilities over:

- Core merchant BNPL product

- Value add features (Data and insight collection, Integrations etc)

- New Product Development:

- Take the lead within the business on future developments to ultimately grow Capital Float's offering and generate more revenue.

- Lead user research, and testing with early prototyping and feedback loops

- Work with the marketing/communications team on re-engagement automations, remarketing campaigns etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

- Cross business, stakeholder management up to C-level

- Great communicator, being personable and able to juggle multiple stakeholder priorities

- Strategic thinker, Growth mindset and Demonstrable decision-making skills.

- Experience in funnel conversion, and modern product management analytics tools

- Makes data driven decisions

- Experience in working in payments, SAAS, fintech

- Experiencing working within cross-functional teams which include the ability to work with (internal and external stakeholders) developers, product designers, subject matter experts to ship features and identify the right path forward, uniting cross-functional teams towards a singled, share vision

- 2+ years of experience in Fintech industry being in Product roles and graduated from Tier 1 Engineering/B-schools
