Associate Partner Tax -Bangalore

The ideal candidate profile will include the following :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of experience in Taxation, with more than 5 years of sound local / regional (Bangalore / South India) work experience

- Hands on with Corporate and International tax, cross-border transactions, tax structuring, tax treaties, litigation matters, tax transaction advisory, M&A Tax, India inbound and outbound multinational clients

- Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral including local / regional and language/s expertise

- Ability to develop new business, lead and drive the P&L for the Bengaluru Tax Practice

- Attention to detail, practical approach to problems, client focused and commercial awareness

- Motivated and committed to continuously developing technical, commercial and client relationship skills

Practice :

- Create teams and excellence in the teams, setting up systems for Knowledge base and its management for various services as required in the region

- Personally manage strategic accounts ensuring excellence in every deliverable

- Administer processes and compliance, in your practice area

- Lead and coordinate the planning and management of assignments, with guidance from the other Partner/s and manage risk and independence issues on client engagements.

- Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the authorities, relevant members of the business and functional teams, other members of the local and international teams and external service providers.

- Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews; perform in-charge role as needed.

- Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform services.
