Associate Manager - Quality

Opportunity with a US based Financial Firm

Position: Associate Manager - Quality

Dept/Division: Transaction Processing Services

Location : Bangalore

Exp – 7-11 years

NOTE: Min 2 years as TL in non voice financial/retirement service operations & need to be flexible with the Night Shifts.


FI Quality team does the quality check and assurance across account setup, maintenance and quality audit of various Client Institutional Customers. The Associate Manager is expected to seamlessly manage operations and also build QMS, Drive team to build RCAs under set direction with a strong under standing of process and the business.

Key responsibilities

1. Manage services delivery as per the set service level agreements

2. Ensure all quality reports are accurately produced and published on time

3. Build in-depth RCAs for operations group

4. Drive accuracy improvement projects

5. Presents logical analysis/observations from the performance/operational reports

6. Drive and consistently maintain rigor around operations discipline

7. Builds and maintains an excellent business relationship with the Internal and external partners

8. Effectively manage client priorities/escalations

9. Assume complete ownership of day to day operations

10. Conducts effective and regular 1-2-1 sessions with direct reports

11. Assess needs for training to enhance job performance of associates on the team

12. Work with each associate to develop and act upon a development plan to ensure that each individual has an opportunity to achieve their performance goals

13. Promote teamwork and responsiveness of individuals in their areas of responsibility

14. Conducting effective Performance Appraisal meeting

15. Participate in hiring activity for his/her team and organization

16. Seek opportunities for continuous improvement

Profile of the candidate:

1. Graduate from a recognized university

2. Minimum 8- 10 years of prior experience

3. Min 2 years as TL in non voice financial/retirement service operations

4. Should have managed a team of 10 - 15 associates and or at least 1 team leader directly.

5. Exposure to Brokerage and prior experience of account setup and maintenance processes will be an added advantage

6. Willingness to work in night shifts Should have experience in handling a quality team and exposure quality tools and techniques

7. Six Sigma knowledge will be a added advantage
