We are currently looking for an Associate Manager/ Manager Site In-charge(Logistics) for our leading client who is a diversified organisation in India comprising 6 publicly traded companies. It has world class transport and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence. Job Objective - Candidate shall be overall in-charge for monitoring &amp; coordination of Logistics operation at Mine Site as well as Railway siding. - He shall be responsible for cost effective Logistics Operation by curtailing unproductive loses like transit losses, freight loss, punitive etc. Initially he will be responsible for site Project monitoring, liaisoning &amp; coordination till the project get completed. Educational Qualification: Essential: Graduate / Post Graduate Desired: MBA/ Experience and/or Qualification in Supply Chain Management Strategic Roles &amp; Responsibilities I. Road /Railway Operations Planning and Review - 40% - Coordinating with Mining/CHP Team &amp; Security Team for day-to-day vehicle loading &amp; road dispatch Logistics operation. - Coordinating with Transport agency for daily vehicle placement. - Coordinating with rake loading contractor for day-to-day rake loading &amp; siding operation. - Coordinating with Railways authorities at siding &amp; at division for day-to-day rake loading plan &amp; rake loading operation. - Road Transportation &amp; Rake Loading Contract management &amp; monitoring, billing and paymnet processing - Overall management &amp; coordination of Logistics Operation at Mine site &amp; at Railway siding. - To monitor &amp; control operational losses as per set KRAs. - Preparing Weekly/ Monthly MIS on unproductive loses &amp; its corrective measures - Railway Project site construction monitoring &amp; related Railway liaisoning &amp; coordination till the project get completed. II Cost Management - 50% - Focus on reduction of road transit loses - Operation control in Railway operation for reduction in Freight loss/ punitive and transit losses - Focus on maintaining operational cost &amp; loses within given budget III People management : 10% Ensure capability development of the team through performance management, training, and mentoring to drive high performance, engagement and enable achievement of current and future business needs
