Associate Manager - Continuous Improvement & Sustainability (ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor)

Immediate opening for an Associate Manager - Continuous Improvement & Sustainability with the topmost FMCG Conglomerate in India. The position is to be based at CHENNAI.

Purpose of the Job

To lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business looking at safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost and efficiency, delivering benefits to support customer satisfaction. He will be accountable to build continuous improvement mind set and build capability to embed continuous improvement methodologies and tools across the business.

Principal Accountabilities

- Lead and drive ISO 9001:2015 certifications for the business and its key vendor partners

- Act as Management Representative for ISO 9001 (MR)

- Manage, conduct & drive Internal ISO 9001 audits

- Liasoning with certification bodies

- Benchmark business processes with world class practices and improve

- Mapping end to end processes of the division and implement new processes / improve existing processes

- Green product certification initiatives (sustainability initiatives)

- NVA elimination in the processes through VSM approach

- Annual policy deployment initiatives

- Training/ facilitation Kaizen culture promotion across all factories

- 5S implementation drives

- Kaizens

- Trainings on various tools and techniques

Educational Qualification & Experience

Mechanical or Industrial Engineering graduates from Tier 1 campus working in core Operations domain with 2 to 3 years of experience in Operations/Quality/Engineering roles

Skills & Competencies

- Six sigma Black belt/ Green belt certified

- Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

- Problem solving tools such as 7 QC tools, Why Why Analysis etc.

- TPM, Kaizen, 5S etc.

- Minitab essentials

- Knowledge of Statistical quality control (SQC)

- Project management

Salary : 15.0-22.0 LPA
