Associate - M&A/Strategy Consulting (2-4 yrs)

Role:

Position: Associate Strategy and M&A Consulting


Location: Delhi-NCR (Remote)


Joining Time: As soon as possible (maximum 04 weeks)


Front-end upstream Strategy and M&A Global Consulting service line:


- Work closely with a global team of consultants, and Fortune 100 clients to understand their vision and help them devise inorganic and growth strategies


- Exposure to work with global clients in industries e.g., Automotive, TMT, Private Equity, Industrials, Manufacturing, Financial Services et al


- Synthesize key takeaways by structuring ambiguous problems, consolidate information sources, analyse complex qualitative and quantitative data, present interpretations to the project team, and provide recommendations to global clientele


- Devise corporate/ business unit, M&A, and market entry strategies. Conduct commercial due diligence, business wargaming, and screen M&A targets


- Communicate effectively with the senior leadership and the clients by playing an active role in firm building initiatives


- Develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passions, strengths, and personal values


Key requirements:


- Should have keen interest in building a career in Strategy and M&A Consulting


- Ability to break down and solve ambiguous problems through quantitative thinking and analysis along with proficiency in consulting story boarding / story telling


- Enterprising and collaborative professional with ability to work with in a team


- Exposure in International clients geographies (North America/Western Europe/Asia-Pacific & Japan) will be considered favourably


- Prior work experience of 4-6 years in strategy houses/ Big 4 / boutique consulting / corporate strategy / corporate development background is preferred


- MBA or relevant masters from premier institutes globally or India is a must


Other competencies required:


- Sound understanding of business strategy, finance, cross industry exposure, value chain/ profit pool analysis, disruptive business models and innovation


- Ability to interact with confidence and handle CEOs/ CXOs/ client executives independently


- Excellent analytical & presentation skills (Fluent in PowerPoint and Excel). Ability to conduct thorough market research on S&P CapIQ, IBISWorld, Merger Markets, Bloomberg, and other platforms


- Exemplary Communication (verbal and written) & Presentation skills


- Strategic mindset, hustler, fast learner & go-getter
