Position: Associate Legal Manager

Location: Mumbai/Delhi/Kolkata/Bangalore

Candidate Profile :

Qualified Law Graduate from premier law schools - From National Law School/NALSAR/NUJS ONLY

Experience: 2-3 years (2015-2017 batches)

- Must be currently working with any of these Law Firms: Amarchand Mangaldas/Trilegal/AZB /Luthra /J. Sagar & Associates /Khaitan (Mumbai Office)

- Candidate must possess adequate knowledge in various branches of law, including contracts, arbitrations, intellectual property, indirect taxes, labor, civil and criminal procedures and constitutional law and must have had in-depth on-the-job exposure in some of these areas of law.

- Candidate should also possess requisite skills in legal research and drafting of pleadings and opinions.

- Selected candidates may be posted at any of the Company's units and can be transferred across units.

The role also involves frequent travel.

Job Profile :

The primary responsibility is to provide sound and strategic legal advice and opinions on a host of issues pertaining to day-to-day operations of the businesses and their initiatives. Briefing counsel, handling legal cases, drafting/vetting various types of agreements, pleadings, legal notices etc are some of the other responsibilities. Members of the legal team interact independently with managers at all levels of the corporation as well as with some of the best legal professionals both in the country and abroad.
