IT Auditor - Associate

JOB Opportunity for International Financial Service in PUNE for IT AUDITOR

- Handles routine to moderately complex assignments relative to validation of Management Action Plans and control testing of assigned IT Internal Audits.

- Perform testing of remediated IT audit issues to validate that the action plan implemented by management mitigates the identified risk.

- Select the appropriate samples per Methodology in support of the testing performed.

- Obtain and evaluate evidence(s) for sufficiency, appropriateness, and adequacy of the remediation efforts.

- Maintain high quality of validation documentation to evidence that the review and validation performed can be understood by an independent third-party reader to enable them to draw a similar conclusion.

- Maintain validation document along with evidence in the audit database for sign-off.

- Assist the audit team in tracking and reporting the status of open audit issues and related MAPs.

- Disseminate and share best practices with the audit team to add value to the MAP validation process.

- Participate in recommending enhancement(s) to the validation process to gain efficiencies.

- Perform a test of controls during IT audit engagement, and verify compliance with regulations and sound business practices.

- Analyze audit data/observations and document audit conclusions/findings.

- Requires knowledge of IT and information security governance, audit data analytics, integrated audit approaches, IT risk and controls, system development methodologies, network infrastructure, IT control frameworks, and major IT architectures, and platforms. Requires strong knowledge of mainframe, distributed, cloud-based, and network platforms, ERP, databases, data warehouses, information security, and financial services technology operations.

- Experience/knowledge of auditing data management/data governance, robotics, and artificial intelligence environments will be an added advantage. Working knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) will be a plus.

- Requires knowledge of financial services products, services, and regulations; internal audit best-in-class practices; risk management; and regulatory guidance and expectations (FRBB, OCC, SEC, State Insurance).

- Must have strong working knowledge and experience with the Institute of Internal Auditor's (IIA) International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) to which the Internal Audit division's methodology is aligned.
