The primary function of the Equity Syndicate Desk is to execute Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions. The Syndicate desk acts as a bridge between issuer clients and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

- Work with the team on all matters pertaining to the execution of ECM deals.

- Perform a great variety of tasks related to the execution of ECM deals which may include:

- Investor targeting analysis ahead of potential equity placings and/or IPO executions

- Working on books of demand: setting up, swapping, duping, analyzing, allocating etc.

- Managing the pricing process

- Managing coordination and communication with internal (ECM, sales, sales-trading, legal and compliance, research, middle office, roadshow team- ) and external (syndicate banks, institutional investors, corporate clients- ) counterparties

- Managing the day to day execution of Pre Deal Investor Education and Management Roadshow programmes for IPOs including analysis and interpretation of feedback and participating in client feedback calls
