Business Unit Overview :

- The Human Resources team partners with Nomura's businesses to offer a consistent global approach to people management with local ownership and delivery.

- We seek to ensure that there is clarity about how the HR team makes a difference to business performance. One of our key requirements is in the management of people risk across our businesses, and to encourage integrity, fairness, transparency and accountability by providing management information that gives insight into people performance and risks.

Role & Responsibilities :

Some specific responsibility areas are to

Employee Relation :

- Liaise with Legal, Compliance and Operational Risk team on various Employee relation matters including internal complaint and Operational risk cases

- Track and maintain repository for ER, IC & OR cases

- Ensure smooth closure of ER & IC cases by co-ordinating with different stakeholders including government institutions wherever required

- Drafting and maintaining templates of standard ER cases

- Maintaining and filing, appointment letters, necessary documentations including Minutes of the meetings of ER & IC cases

Mind Set :

Mandatory :

- Facilitation Skills with ability to facilitate Leadership Development & Learning workshops firm wide across junior - middle management levels

- Must currently be delivering or have delivered programs for this type of audience in the last 1-2 years

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

- Excellent verbal & written skills with ability to articulate quickly basis the context and situation

- High on judgment and decision making abilities

- Ability to design content & customize workshops basis business requirement

- Ability to offer creative solutions to existing or known problems

- Training Certifications on Tools / Programs / Methodology/ Facilitation

- Exposure to working in matrix organizations having interactions with Global stakeholders

- Fluency in Hindi / Marathi and ability to train in Hindi /Marathi will be an added plus

- Exposure in working with Employee Relation cases

- Diploma in Labour Law will be an added advantage
