Opening for the position of Associate Head HR (Plant/ Factory)
Primary purpose of Job :
- Responsible to ensure process of Employee life cycle including good exposure of Recruitment, PMS, Training and Development across levels including shop floor employees etc.
- To Strengthen governance around statutory compliance
- Negotiating collective bargaining deals between union and management & handling wage settlement. Ensure harmonious Industrial Relations.
- Engagements with external agencies like: Government Officials, Neighbourhood leaders, Panchayat leader etc
- Ensure uninterrupted communication systems, town halls, 1:1, skip levels etc.
- Partnering business.
- To Drive Productivity improvement at plant
- Ensure Employees Welfare & Socialisation, events management, etc.
Desired Profile :
- Demonstrate successful track record in an unionized factory environment, specially, should have hand-on experience of signing of multiple LTS.
- Hands-on experience on Strategic IR.
- Good communication in English, Hindi & Tamil.
- Excellent Presentation skills including Power Point
- Demonstrate good inter-personal skills with cross functional areas.
- Proactive and process-oriented approach.
- Comply with EHS needs and all statutory regulations as per Factory Act & Industrial Dispute Act
1. Harmonious Industrial Relations
- Play a consultative and advisory role in managing cordial IR atmosphere
- Work on strategies to ensure positive IR climate in factory
- Implement effective communication, intervention, counselling etc - to continuously improve employee morale.
- Address issues that negatively impact the morale of the employees proactively and assist in sorting out the issues - by facilitating dialogue, conflict resolution, etc.
- Facilitate Monthly meetings with Union and closure of possible grievance issues
- Implementation of LTS terms and conditions
2. Strengthen governance around statutory compliance
- Ensure that statutory compliance requirements are met.
- Verify and monitor the monthly compliance audit scores
- Collaborate with CFT and educate them on the compliance aspect to arrest deviations
- Liasoning with Government authorities
- Ensure HR compliance in Quality & Safety front
- Drive HR Budgeting exercise
3. People Development
- Performance management system, Talent Review Processes, monthly and annual training identification and timely delivery.
- Knowledge of Executive & young leaders Development Programs, Management and Technical trainees programs etc.
- Design people initiatives/strategies that enhance productivity, employee welfare and development
- Develop competent and skilled work force
- Design and introduce long term strategy for Manpower availability
4. Partnering Business
- Proactive and effective recruitment skills
- Strengthen the brining touchpoints at plant
- Cascade of organisation level PBO's
- Half yearly and Annual Talent review
- Drive T&D agenda at plant
5. Productivity improvement
- To design and drive Productivity improvement projects in plant
- Collaborate with CFT and partner in Productivity improvement projects
- Annual HR Budgeting, monthly tracking
- Effective administration Security, Transportation, Canteen etc.
- Contract Labour Management
