JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Company is seeking an AGM - Channel Sales or equivalent who will be responsible to create, identify, qualify, pursue and win business opportunities. This position leads as Sales (Defense) team, working in conjunction with the GM/VP/CEO, as well as the Sales (Industrial/ Civil) team. Candidate should be comfortable conversing in the key areas of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles / Unmanned Aerial Systems and various payloads.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- To develop and implement the business plan for the entire zone and achieve targeted profitability.
- Identify, Appoint and manage Channel/Business Partners in the zone to handle accounts of Police, Paramilitary etc to tap into Discretionary budgets.
- Creation of Channel modules which will be sold on Volume basis through these designated channels.
- Train and Educate Partner Sales Team on Company Services offering.
- Support and accompany Partner Team in large cases closing.
- Ensure desired results for Company business through the Partner.
- To coordinate all sales related tasks and activities for the zone with the sales teams.
- Identify opportunities, propose solutions to Customers in consultations with the technical/product teams
- Meet and Exceed Sales Targets on an on-going basis.
- Responsible for revenue collections through the channel and channel satisfaction.
- Creation of Channel incentive programs and with Marketing team to deliver marketing programs in the market
- Analysis and understanding of competition across verticals
- Generate Weekly Sales Report, Sales Projections. Report generation.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
The ideal candidate for this challenging position should possess :
- Master's Degree complemented with a qualification in sales, marketing or similar
- Have a strong understanding of Defense business
- 10 plus years of experience in channel sales and experience of closing deals.
- Competitive, flexible and resourceful professional with very good networking and communication skills. Open-minded, persuasive and able to deal with all levels at customer accounts
- Candidate should have strong business acumen and a real commitment to achieving goals & results
