Leading full service Bangalore-based law firm is looking for an Associate for their General Corporate practice group. The candidate should have an excellent understanding of the law in addition to proven leadership qualities. Responsibilities: - Candidate will be working with the recruiting partner and the team on diverse legal matters including, but not restricted to Private Equity, General Corporate, Advisory, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Intellectual Property (IP), Employment Law, Banking, Labour Law, etc. - Liaise with client on future course with respect to corporate transactions - Provide strategic advice to clients - Preparing opinions and notes vis-a-vis transactions. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Fluency in writing and reading English - Must be articulate - Team player - Extensive research skills - Time management - Good communication skills (oral and written) - Confidentiality Credentials and Experience: - Must have a basic degree in law - Must have between 2 and 6 years of relevant experience in corporate transactions with a well established law firm or with a large corporate establishment.
