Associate - Financial Planning & Analysis - Treasury Analytics - CA

Qualifications/ Experience:

- CA Mandatory

- 3-6 years of financial analysis experience

- Demonstrated knowledge of financial statements and experience in business reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

- Highly analytical; Excellent Excel-based modeling skills are required

- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills are required

Overview:

The Treasury Analytics department is responsible for the financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, Senior Management reporting, and rating agency communications related to the firm's liquidity position, balance sheet, cash usage, capital structure, and debt capacity, in addition to competitor analysis and reporting. The Associate position is structured to provide exposure across all disciplines of Treasury Analytics and build a comprehensive knowledge of Apollo's businesses and the alternative asset management industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Responsible for data management to support quarterly reporting and competitor analysis, including developing cadence with Finance teams for input aggregation

- Generate quarterly liquidity pages for BP&A (FP&A) / Senior Management

- Assist with the quarterly cash bridge by maintaining detailed daily tracking of actual cash spend by category

- Perform financial analysis of publicly available information to complete the competitor data report on a quarterly basis

- Maintain detailed and flexible models supporting the liquidity model, annual budget, long-term plan, and tracking versions to perform relevant variance analysis

- Update rating agency annual review presentations with the latest AGM / Fund marketing materials, including requesting required information from other teams (e.g., fund controllers, marketing, BP&A, etc.)
