Job Summary:

- Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Equity Research Associate to join their team and cover the real estate sector in Indian equities.

- In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth fundamental analysis of companies in the real estate sector, building complex financial models, and producing high-quality equity research reports.

- The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics, or accounting, and a passion for researching and analyzing companies in the real estate industry.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct extensive fundamental research on companies in the real estate sector, including financial analysis, company visits, and industry research.

- Develop complex financial models to forecast earnings, cash flows, and valuations for companies in the real estate sector, using Excel, Bloomberg, and other financial tools.

- Monitor industry trends, government policies, and macroeconomic indicators to identify potential investment opportunities and risks in the real estate sector.

- Write detailed equity research reports on companies in the real estate sector, including investment recommendations and target prices, and communicate research findings to internal stakeholders and external clients.

- Participate in meetings and conference calls with company management, industry experts, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights on the real estate sector.

- Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and other key stakeholders in the real estate sector.

- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and market events that may impact the real estate sector and Indian equities market.

Education:

- MBA or CA

- CFA

Experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related field, with a focus on the real estate sector.

Skills:

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with expertise in Excel and Bloomberg.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write high-quality equity research reports and communicate complex financial analysis to non-experts.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Deep knowledge of the real estate sector and Indian equities market, including trends, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
