Associate - Enterprise Risk Management - Private Equity Shared Service

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and collect risk management metrics for data-driven reporting and monitoring of risk framework.

- Perform all data management responsibilities related to ERM's use of the Archer risk management platform. This includes review, approval, upload and maintenance (including ongoing reporting) of risk issues, incidents, risks/controls inventory, and risk metrics.

- Continue to enhance use of Archer to provide more detailed reporting as we continue to enhance the ERM program

- Monitor ERM implementation program status across business and functional groups

- Assist/Facilitate risk workshops for each department that focus on risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting on enterprise risks across the organization.

- Prepare all necessary presentations to help support the roll-out, training and on going communication of the ERM program.

- Prepare meeting materials to communicate ERM Program activities and findings to senior management

- Prepare materials and escalate risks to facilitate decision making discussions for relevant management and governance committees

- Ability to influence and interface effectively with all levels of management. Provide conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies in order to identify common themes and solutions

- Manage and maintain corporate policies and charters, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and organizational structure

- Create and maintain recurring reporting to senior management and board committees

- Maintain awareness of market best practices and regulatory requirements for financial institutions regarding policy and committee governance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a risk management or similar role at a financial services institution. Strong analytical experience. Financial Services/Asset Management experience required.

- Proficient in data management/manipulation, reporting, presentations, database management (advanced excel, powerpoint)

- Demonstrated capability to apply risk management concepts, analysis and support to strategic decision-making processes

- Strong understanding of internal controls and industry leading ERM frameworks

- Experience in preparing and presenting materials to an executive level audience

- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

- Superior verbal and written skills; high level of accountability, detail orientation and ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with various levels of the organization

- Role requires individual to be nimble and flexible to balance multiple tasks simultaneously

- Archer experience preferred.
