Associate Director(Workplace & Enterprise Infrastructure Services)

Job Description :

The Workplace & Enterprise Services (WES) team is accountable for :

- Ensuring our workforce has the right tools and services to be most effective in their workplace. This includes end user devices and operating systems, printing, collaboration tools and conferencing. All of which must work seamlessly and continue to be current and relevant to the business.

- The provision of Enterprise Management, Monitoring and Security tools used across the broader IT organization, driving availability through proactive, pre-emptive management of our infrastructure.

- The Enterprise Service Management platform (ServiceNow), driving and delivery automation and optimization to ensure that our processes are as efficient and effective as possible.

- Lifecycle and currency across our infrastructure, including End User, Server and Networks environments

The Workplace Device Services Lead has end to end accountability for the End User Devices Service, including:

- Service performance and availability

- Hardware and OS currency across the Laptop, Desktop & Mobile Estate, through robust device refresh & OS evergreen processes

- Hardware and OS currency across the Conferencing, Meeting Room and Event Infrastructure, ensuring fleet refresh and interoperability into the company's Collaboration services strategy

- Printer fleet management and hardware refresh, including the expansion of the service across all Markets

- Partner and supplier contract and service delivery management

- Technology roadmap and refresh

The Workplace Device Services Lead will be accountable for :

- Service Delivery of the service lines, ensuring performance, currency, available and security

- Simplify the environment so our technology and tools are current, delivers value and a great customer experience.

- Build strong relationships with key Stakeholders and Customers to ensure these technologies and the way we deliver them meet customer needs.

- Manages our technology partners effectively to ensure company is on the leading edge of technology innovation, both benefiting from and shaping our partners roadmaps

- Lead and continuously develop a strong technical team building a function that drives differentiation in how we leverage, integrate and adopt technology

- Accountable for the definition of successful business cases, interlocking investment to drive technology transformation

- Be a key member of the Workplace and Enterprise Services Leadership Team to ensure that the team continues to develop and grow and that strategies are aligned and executed effectively.

Essential Skills :

- Industry recognized experience in managing global, enterprise teams with a successful track record in driving technology and organizational transformation and simplification

- Significant experience in the management and delivery of large scale, refresh programme

- Significant experience in the management and delivery of 3rd party service agreements

- Experience in leading global organizations (20+) and providing leadership/development to other managers and leading a diverse range of activities through others in a hybrid line management and matrix organization

- Collaborative, Innovative, Win: Win Attitude

- Forward thinking and independent perspectives on Technology and IT leaderships

- Evidence of leading and developing strategic solutions and business cases providing measurable business Value (Idea through to Delivery/Measurement)

- Experience of defining strategies and influencing the vision of senior leaders.

Desirable :

- Experience working in the Biopharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry

- SDLC, Agile & Scrum methodologies

- Experience working in different countries/cultures.

- Confidence presenting to large internal and external audiences.
