Associate Director - Testing Shared Services:

Summary:

To lead the manual and automation testing practice.

Responsibility for the design and delivery of Application, and related, testing activities. Agree testing policies and standards for all phases of the testing cycle and monitor compliance.

Ensure that the team has the necessary technical processes, environments and technologies, organization structure and people skills (including 3P), and governance and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders up to date with performance.

To promptly identify risks and issues in a timely manner and provide proposals for mitigation and corrective actions as required.

Responsibilities:

Drive large testing programs for our customers and take the lead role during senior management steering. Represent the Division in relevant offshore and relationship meetings and groups.

Measure and monitor customer satisfaction and proactively execute improvement plans.

Accountable for all the delivery targets for the areas responsible

Develop, maintain and enhance customer and other stake holder relationship. Continuously improve the communication within the Division and with various entities.

Represent the Division in relevant offshore and relationship meetings and groups.

Prepare for and attend regular management and team meetings and contribute.Escalate all relevant operational information to the CEO and relevant senior stakeholders in a timely manner

Responsible for the achievement of the Target Operating Model and requisite Business volumes. Ensure timely and effective monitoring, reporting and planning of operational systems. Monitor progress against plans regularly and compare to service levels and forecasts

Define measure and refine delivery capabilities and improve them.

Responsible for establishing and maintaining Technical or Management competency within AMOS India by taking complete ownership. Effectively lead the Project managers, Senior Project Managers, Architects in the day to day management.

Establish methods for knowledge management and skills enhancement

Establish methods to achieve cost and operational efficiency. Plan and control the apportioned budget in line with corporate guidelines.Ensure compliance with all relevant compliance rule books and codes of practices

Responsible for driving R&D, innovation, digitalization, permanent/reusable assets in the teams. Establish proper recruitment, pyramid management, training and retention strategies. Assist in the design and implementation of staff development plans which provide sufficient motivation and reward while delivering business targets

Responsible for actions from corporate plan and tactical and strategic initiatives arising from the corporate plan or special events. Required Experience:

10+ with testing specialist & test architect experience respectively

Experience in QTP and Test Automation is a PLUS

Trainings in software engineering, development methodologies, design principles, SOA, etc.

Preferred: Trainings or certifications in latest digital technologies

Domain: Insurance domain experience - P&C and/or L&P or financial services

Rich experience in driving large projects/programs in the insurance platforms for the AD&M division from planning to estimations to design to implementation.

20 years of experience in Testing /Project Management in reputed IT organisations with 18+ years of relevant experience

Education / Certification:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Masters or Bachelors Degree in software-related technology

Certifications in technology
