Associate Director - Sustainability & Climate Risk (12-18 yrs)

At least 10 years of experience including in credit risk space with good exposure to ESG assessment of banks' lending portfolio, climate risk assessment of banks' lending portfolio, monitoring KPIs / SPTs in banks' sustainable loans
Location : Mumbai, Pune & Gurugram
Education : MBA/CA/CFA/PhD
Industries : Insurance, Investment Bank, Captives, Big 4, Big 7
Key Role & Responsibilities :
- Be a subject matter expert in Sustainability/Climate Risk stream during client engagements
- Act as a consultant and help banking clients meet their climate ambitions in terms of sectoral opportunities, net zero commitment, credit underwriting and disclosures, among others
- Lead/ execute new Sustainability/Climate risk stream related pilots/ projects from conception through delivery to client, including identifying strategic direction of the work and directing and supporting team members in project-related tasks
- Manage, lead, and mentor a team of ESG/credit specialists and grow future skills from within based on market demand.
- Experience of executing/leading large projects at least in two of the three areas (Climate Change, Decarbonization, ESG)
- Proven experience with franchise and market outreach activities
- Team management of more than 100 people
- Strong leadership experience and skills
