Activities like picking, packing, putting, receiving, return processing etc, take place. As of&nbsp;everyday. About the role : The incumbent would be heading operations in an extremely high-volume, high velocity FC Operations in&nbsp;e-retail environment with deep customer focus. He is expected to lead a team of approx. 5000+ people&nbsp;and key stakeholders ensuring that the management expectations are met and the operations run smoothly&nbsp;without ambiguity. This person would be the bridge between leadership and the facility operations team. Person would also be solving day to day operational issues with his/her team and ensuring that the set&nbsp;targets / SLA's are met. He should pre-empt operational challenges and keep facility/ respective functions&nbsp;ready in all respects. What you'll do ( Role &amp; Responsibilities ) :&nbsp; - Spearheading Warehouse core functions like Inbound / Outbound/ Inventory / Return Centre for Company - Planning, Design, Operationalization of Functional areas / new fulfilment centres. - Monitor FC Operations and identify improvement opportunities. - Work closely with Logistics and Retail Operations Heads on Operational Issues, - Work with External Supply Chain experts to implement global supply chain initiatives for Company - Accountable for Planning, Design, Operationalization of new optimized delivery networks and&nbsp;delivery flexibility with the help of central teams. - Drive continuous improvement and operationalize Business process Innovation, Six Sigma, Lean - Accountable for Delivery Quality assurance. Six Sigma, Lean and other quality tools. - Develop, mentor and motivate the team spread across locations to achieve higher goals - Leverages the Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas for improvements and drive&nbsp;implementation of the same - Works closely with Central Team, Planning and Finance to ensure manpower requirements are met. - Deep dive and acquire an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply when&nbsp;solving business problems - Support Design team in pilot &amp; rollout of new projects around performance improvement - Coordinate with various stakeholders &amp; support functions and identify/implement actions&nbsp;towards achievement of cost, speed and reliability targets - Business process improvements towards customer satisfaction &amp; efficiency with thorough&nbsp;understanding of lean management fundamentals What you'll need : - Graduate/Post Graduate (preferred - candidates from Tier I/II MBA institutes) - 10-20 years- experience with operations and supply chain ; Industrial Relations. - Strong experience in scaling up of operations or greenfield scaleup experience - Strong analytical approach to problem-solving with a metrics-driven focus, Go-getter attitude. - Focus on building culture of frugality without sacrificing safety or customer satisfaction. - Constantly thinks outside the box; lead others to success and drive change to influence others to&nbsp;achieve results - Demonstrated ability to successfully develop others into higher levels of leadership in an&nbsp;organisation. Deep Knowledge of labour laws, Statutory laws &amp; Compliance are expected - Knowledge of fulfillment/warehouse operations including robotics, high-speed conveyor systems&nbsp;and other highly automated equipment. Should be able to work with minimum supervision. - Strong background in leading teams of more than 500+ operators &amp; staffs including Senior&nbsp;Managers and managers. - Extraordinary Change Management skills: Processes, Policies, Training &amp; Systems. Should be able&nbsp;to handle IR issues independently.
