Associate Director - Software Licensing (12-15 yrs)

Role and responsibilities:

The role undertaken by the individuals will depend on the type and circumstances of each project but will generally incorporate:

- Lead and develop a team of 30-35 employees to deliver services to multiple clients and also build this team further.

- Guiding, mentoring and monitoring this team in terms of career counseling, coaching & performance management.

- Understand client requirements / onshore team requirements to get them executed through this dedicated team.

- Manage large projects within timelines and budget.

- Monitor all Quality, Risk and Delivery aspects of service offerings.

- Liaise with onshore team to suggest improvements in the operating model to achieve greater efficiency.

- Flexible to travel as needed

- Assisting with the analysis of software license agreements and related contractual documentation

- Conducting Gap analysis for licenses purchased vs. deployed

- Data analysis of a range of data types including structure software license sales records, and structured and unstructured outputs from software discovery tools, using Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL

- Researching solutions to technical challenges and contractual ambiguities

- Interaction with a range of technical and managerial personnel from our clients and their contractual counterparties to gather, understand and validate information.

- Use of technical solutions such as batch scripts to automate data collection from IT systems.

- Use of project management tools to control and report on project status

- Involvement in preparation of reports and other client deliverables

Qualifications:

- Strong academic background MBA or equivalent.

- 12-15 years of work experience

- Strong communication and command over written and spoken English

- A people friendly person who will be mentor to his team at all levels.

- Have a high level of competence with Microsoft Excel (including VBA programming skills) and familiarity with data analysis concepts including parsing, data transformation, lookups, data joining and quality assurance.

- Strong general interest in information technology including an understanding of network management and security, IT infrastructure (including infrastructure virtualisation), virtual computing etc.

- End to end understanding of the IBM/Microsoft and/or other Software licensing processes

- Good understanding of various software licensing metrics, license agreements and policies

- Strong analytical, research, problem solving and organizational skills

- Ability to communicate with impact and effectively summarize and present procedures, assumptions and conclusions both internally and externally.

- Ability to:

a) Work on own on initiatives and proactively identify, analyse, prioritise and resolve issues for and with the team.

b) Execute & lead plans, manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads

c) Deliver high quality services with attention to detail

d) Multi-task, respond to ad-hoc situations and to meet deadlines

- An enthusiasm to get involved in marketing activity and in developing the Forensic practice.

- Passport holder with an ability to travel internationally if required
