Associate Director/Senior Manager - Project Management - Analytics Technology Team - Retail (10-25 yrs)
- Serve as a senior leader within the Technology organization across the Bangalore and US offices
- Build and develop the Analytics Technology teams in both Bangalore and Plano
- Establish effective KPIs and SLAs that show growth, maturity and efficiency year over year
- Manage 2 - 3 Sr. Managers directly and a total team of 25 to 40 individual contributors
- This position has entire ownership of their teams from Bangalore and will work with leaders on both shores to execute the Data and Analytics strategy and projects
- Ensure process and quality standards are achieved within work teams
- Serve as escalation point for roadblocks slowing down or impeding delivery objectives
- Provide direction, coaching, and set goals for career growth and development of teams
- Lead cross-functional teams, and provide the technical perspective to data science projects, and support problem scoping and structuring
- Manage project financials, budget forecasts, and staffing plans across the department
- Identify and champion internal / external best practices, tools, and ideas to drive constant growth and innovation within the analytics space
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
- 5 to 10 years of demonstrated leadership experience in Information Technology, including experience leading leaders. Must include at least 1 year in a USA-based Global Inhouse Center (GIC); experience in retail desired.
- Multiple years of experience leading teams developing in Big Data technologies and leveraging Analytics tools. Machine learning and AI experience preferred.
- Excellent at building and developing teams
- Drives vision & strategy, defines the Analytics technology roadmap
- Strong communication (oral and written), with an ability to convey complex results in an easy to understand, thematic manner
- Drives results and has strong accountability
- Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of industry trends, tools and techniques
- Practical experience in leading technical teams with extensive knowledge of SDLC and IT project management processes
- Experience managing project financials, budget forecasts, and staffing plans
