Associate Director/Senior Lead - Equity Research/Fixed Income - Research & Analytics Services Firm

- Responsible for all day-to-day operations of the account. Managing a team of offshore research analysts supporting a large global Investment Bank.

- Provide analytical leadership on deliverables for sell-side firms ) including modelling, investment thesis, industry research.

- Responsibilities: Client, team and project management.

- Client responsibilities will include interacting with client team for all operational activities, providing solutions to client, and sharing best practices.

- Team & Account management would include, but not limited to, service delivery, staffing, talent retention, training & development of the team, coaching, sharing of best practices, providing feedback, appraisal management, managing aspirations, etc.

- Undertake regular liaison with client management and analyst teams to gauge feedback and satisfaction.

- Supporting thought leadership and content building exercises in investment research areas.

- Assist /Director on executing strategic initiatives that may include:

- Farming and go to market activities support through research, developing/updating marketing collaterals and developing proposals for new / existing businesses areas

- Thought leadership in the form of writing/assisting in writing POVs and white papers on specific topics (e.g. challenges / trends in wealth management industry)

Qualification CA / MBA (Finance) /CFA from premier B-Schools

Minimum & preferred Experience/ Skills :

- Experience of ten years or more in fundamental analysis of companies

- Prior experience of client management and leading teams of offshore research analyst working with investment management firms would be an added advantage

Skills Required :

- Strong understanding of the off shoring business.

- Deep understanding of equity research and Fixed Income and the support extended to sell-side firms.

- Strong Client management skills. Should have demonstrated very high client focus with a demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships with client management members.

- Strong Project management skills. Should have managed complex projects end to end.

- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Should have demonstrated experience managing teams.

- Good Multi-tasking skills. Ability to quickly assimilate & comprehend information and deliver within strict deadlines.
