Associate Director - Sales/Business Development - Cargo/Logistics (12-16 yrs)
- Achieve sales target set by Head Quarters.
- Establish and enhance distribution network.
- Services the distribution network through promotional activities.
- Liaise with direct clients to ensure repeat sales.
- Improve station yield by developing high yield commodities.
- Monitor the Sales staff.
- Continuous market research with the focus on future growth opportunities.
- Gather market information on competition.
- Updating of mark trend / (confidential reports) on competitors.
- Liaise closely with Cargo Operations to improve on revenue generation.
- Plan marketing / sales activities at the station level for increasing customer base.
- Sourcing new Retail / Corporate clients.
- Assign responsibilities to other team members and monitor their performance.
- Cost control through maximum utilization of available resources and cross utilization of resources.
- Update Head Office regularly by means of periodical reports highlighting sales functions and service delivery standards
- Comply and Maintain safety / security / operation standards and ensuring implementation of company's norms.
- Optimizing customer satisfaction by improving operational efficiency.
- Responsible for understanding and meeting client requirements.
- Be aware of and comply with his / her safety responsibilities and accountability as laid down in the Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.
