Summary of Role

Associate Director - Revenue Growth & Retention will be the strategic leader of the business. The incumbent would be passionate about understanding the player behavior as they navigate through our gaming platform. Through this understanding, they will develop strategic and tactical differentiators that are critical to the retention & revenue (long term LTV) of users. The person will be a hands-on, high energy, ambitious individual who thrives in a fast paced and highly demanding start-up environment while leading a fantastic team of highly driven individuals

Responsibilities include:

- Own the growth strategy comprising of retention marketing and product initiatives for scaling up of the business

- Forecast monthly, quarterly, annual revenue growth and build annual operating plan to help achieve the same

- Develop retention execution plans and deliver on retention targets within time and budget with complete ownership of retention marketing campaigns, promotional budget allocation & revenue of the business

- Use data, customer insights, feedback, journey mapping and customer-centric thinking to deeply understand the customer lifecycle and identify opportunities for growth and optimization at every stage

- Obsess over customers and deep dive into their engagement with My11Circle. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities of improved gameplay experiences and innovative marketing strategies to help retain and continue their engagement on the platform from a long-term point of view

- Extraordinary analytical skills with the ability to form hypotheses and draw meaningful insights from various data sources. Work closely with analytics members to identify opportunities, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in huge data sets wrt to users and gameplay

- Partner with Data Science to leverage machine learning & other technologies to automate campaigns, improve targeting and build personalization at scale for improved reactivation, retention and reducing marketing costs

- Lead the function holistically i.e. user research, hypothesis led experimentation, building cross functional alignment to deliver on the growth objectives

- Conceive, design and deploy event-based marketing programs (during IPL, WC) given the high-octane visibility of these events and its impact on the business

- Lead a team of senior marketing managers, campaign managers, analytics managers who are high functioning & driven individuals. You will be responsible for ensuring their growth & success

Minimum Job Qualifications: 7-12 years of overall marketing experience

Skills

- 5+ years of core growth marketing experience - experiment driven marketing experience at a high-growth company with a strong track record of driving high retention of existing users

- Experience of designing & implementing growth strategy to deliver on aggressive goals & objectives (revenue, LTV, marketing %) for a business with an existing significant scale

- Strong understanding of setting and executing AB tests to drive retention rate improvement

- Should possess very strong understanding of the creative process to drive user retention

- Should have obsessive focus on clearly measurable ROI

- Product marketing experience in a growing business with obsessive customer experience - Strategic growth mindset, first principle & analytical skills

- Should have experience building and leading diverse & high functioning teams to achieve retention goals
