Associate Director - Research & Communications - Consulting Firm - IIM/ISB/MICA/SIBM (5-10 yrs)
looking for Associate Director (Research and Communications) for a leading consulting firm.
Location : Gurgaon
About the Role:
Communications Strategy and internal communication
- Lead Research & Communications team to develop, implement, and track a comprehensive communications plan and strategic campaigns
- Provide communications strategy for campaigns and organizing, including developing messaging and framing strategies, drafting talking points, promoting campaign action alerts, and identifying key media opportunities to promote and advance our messages
- Monitor relevant issues and political dialogue to develop timely messages and track big picture narrative shifts
- Strategize and ideate long term and short term action plan for the clients, along with the senior Management
- Create project plans, milestones, timelines, resource requirements etc. for project Implementation
- Ensure daily reporting for higher management and clients showcasing day-on-day progress of the project / new initiatives Content Development
- Develop solicit and edit high-impact content for digital media, blogs, and op-eds
- Ensure consistent communication with company's key audiences and identify new opportunities and platforms to elevate campaign demands and member stories
- Support the communications skills development of staff and grassroots members through technical assistance, trainings, and identifying external resources as needed
- Develop organizational and campaign materials, including issue briefs, brochures, flyers, fact sheets and other handouts
- Work with graphic designers to produce campaign, research, and training materials, reports and visuals
Media Relations
- Develop and implement strategies for securing earned media, including managing a reporter database, pitching stories, and drafting press releases
- Develop and manage media relationships with local, state and national media
Desired profile:
- Should have a minimum experience of 5 years in a leadership position of a business where his/her duties involved the management of comprehensive strategic communications programs for the purpose of advancing a business's goals and objectives, preferably in the position of a Head of PR or a Head of Content
- Postgraduate from a premier institute (IIM, ISB) or from Mass Communication colleges like SIBM, MICA etc.
- Comfortable in handling unambiguous data form different sources
- Strong Team Player. Keen Interest in Mentoring and Grooming Team Members
- Prior team management experience is compulsory
