Associate Director - Programs & Engagement - Education

- Management degree with/or entrepreneurship experience preferred.

- Professional experience of management, administrative and leadership responsibility of entrepreneurial endeavors and programs

- Demonstrated accomplishment in fostering productive relationships with Alumni, students and other stakeholders - Excellent Interpersonal, communication skills, team management and influencing skills.

- Proven ability to work independently, with limited direction, while managing multiple projects, often under tight deadlines

- Robust professional network and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with investors, entrepreneurs and executives

- Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build, and maintain strong working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives

- Strong leadership and project management skills (goal-setting, organization, and implementation)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Purpose

To forge relationships with Alumni and Industry to build CIE's visibility, impact, and financial resources. Develop and implement a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with Alumni Entrepreneurs, Alumni Investors and Alumni Mentors. Implement a comprehensive plan to ensure compliance to all processes related to donor management and ensure timely and accurate reviews and reporting.

Fundraising

- Work with the teams to develop cohesive outreach strategy, ensuring alignment between efforts.

- Work with the CIE Director to identify, cultivate and further develop relationships with:

- Major donors

- Corporations

- Foundations

- Alumni

- Generating fundraising leads through extensive research and networking

- Develop new partnerships with corporates, foundations and other stakeholders for fundraising for various innovation and entrepreneurship focused programs

- Conduct meetings with potential donors and support closure of deals, to acquire new donor partnerships

- Handle external and internal communications and facilitate legal agreements with partners as needed.

Donor and Grant Management

- Manages overall fund reporting program, ensuring that donors are consistently informed of the importance and impact of their grants/funds to CIE; accountable for the quality of reports related to a range of funds received by the Centre

- Ensure compliance to all processes related to donor management and ensure timely and accurate reviews and reporting

- Nurture and manage key supporter relationships in order to maximize their long-term contribution to the organization.

- responsible for consistent follow ups with departments (finance, legal, Development, Grant Cell and Dean's office) and internal teams to ensure timely execution of projects, reports, utilization of project funds etc.

- Coordinate with the program teamsto ensure the timely and thorough use of funds for purposes outlined by the funding source, and communication of proposed variances to use of funds as necessary.

Alumni Engagement

- CIE aims to strengthen support to alumni through a variety of resources and activities. These offerings are designed to help alumni build their businesses, strengthen their involvement with the school, and expand their networks.

- Identify and facilitate Alumni involvement with the Center - as mentors, conference speakers, classroom guests, program

- CIE Budgets, general administration, Digital initiatives
