Associate Director - Outsourcing Operations - Marketing Function


- Role is part of Global Marketing team of Shared Service Setup. Person needs to lead entire Marketing operations team. Will be responsible for Global Marketing Operations. Need someone who has client servicing experience. Preferably Someone who has done Digital Marketing and other marketing related work for global Clients (b2b only)

- This position will be responsible for Marketing operations (leading a team of approx. 70-80 people including Design, Content, Digital and KM Leads) and will have responsibility for directly working with global and regional marketers of company to ensure service delivery as per Service Level Agreements, continuous performance improvement, and sharing best practices within the team and across functions.

Duties & responsibilities What this job involves - a deep understanding of overall marketing function's operations. Being able to comprehend the marketing strategies and build processes to execute with scalability.

- Management and continuous improvement of the marketing team with ownership of hiring, on-boarding, managing attritions and growing the team in response to client demand.

 Leading a team of : 

- Graphic Designers - print design, digital design, data visualization, corporate branding, typography, video projects

- Digital marketing - including Social Media Programs and analytics

- Knowledge management and Business Intelligence

- Secondary Research support (including research, content writing, and design)

- Business Development support (including baseline management and development, writing, and packaging/design)

- Branding and Communications support

- Internal communications

- Focus on day-to-day operations, deep understanding of the people, process and technology. Managing incoming volume of work, fair distribution of work load, tracking team's utilizations that enables marketing to operate efficiently and to scale with quality and consistency.

- Standardization focus i.e. Ensuring multiple stakeholders are aligned

- Handle project issues and Risks through continuous interaction with stakeholders / cross-functional teams

- Ensure People management (Learning & Development, Performance and Engagement, meeting KPIs)

- Ad hoc project work as directed by manager

Key skills - Must have Project Management Experience

- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and in person are essential.

- Strong understanding and grip of workflow process and development

- Proficient in MS-excel large volume data crunching, reporting

- People skills of leading and working with large teams and must be able to motivate others and be a team player.

- Ability to work within tight deadlines and to prioritise work.

- Prior experience of working with multinational organisations is preferred

- Excellent written and verbal English skills, appropriate for a business environment.

Employee specification - Overall Experience required 9-10 years and should have people management experience of large teams for a minimum of 4-5 years

- Exposure to large MNCs and large global marketing agencies.

- Must be a qualified Marketing expert (MBA, Post Graduate Degree) with a proven record of establishing teams and executing marketing responsibilities
