Associate Director - Distribution Center Central Ops (Large and Furniture)

About the role:

This role is primarily responsible for large supply chain Fulfilment operations management, operates more than 5 million Sqft of large fulfilment centres and this role would be about managing the day-to-day operational needs of the same. The role will include co -ordination and collaboration with zonal ops teams, manpower planning, metric management and Customer experience . Role requires a deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and people skills. It will be Challenging, Demanding and will also give rare opportunity to work in fast faced supply chain in a well-established company

About the team :

This role will be part of the large and volumetric Supply chain. Central fulfilment operations team bridges the execution and control between zonal team and helps in working on unified functional objective. Central fulfilment operations team partners with cross functional teams to help run the function effectively and program manage all need and demand of the Asset.

What you'll do:

- Central DC/XD Operations

- Assure Streamlined Operations :

- Hawk's eye on end-to-end operations through continuous monitoring

- Drive reviews on major L0/Functional metrics

- Programs manage with the cross functional focus groups to proactively resolve major issues

- Anchor event readiness across supply chain, tech/product, Planning and Cx functions

- Identify design Gaps & getting it corrected for execution

- Ensure accelerated service recovery in case of disruptions due to ops, tech, external reasons

- Own and improve playbooks for service recovery.

- Governance and planning

- Financial budgeting & execution - PNL accountability of FC/DC/XD operations pan India.

- Create efficient storage, manpower and supply solutions with maximum flexibility and minimized cost Build.

- Drive fulfilment & mid mile KPIs and AOP.

- Engage with zonal heads and close monthly budgets on manpower, productivity and cost.

- Automate/ build products to enable CT Operations:

- Automate CT processes and metrics generation by closely working with analytics and product teams

- Utilize predictive analytics & forward-looking insights for assurance of operations

- Ensure high SC visibility through innovative and real time data extraction and insight generation.

- Data analytics & Insights

- Engage the business to understand critical data requirements, and develop data capability by sourcing, modelling & visualizing operational data for insights & strategic programs

- Building an ongoing decision support system with real time insights to make the supply chain more effective and efficient

What you'll need:

- B.E. + MBA in Supply chain and Operations Preferred

- 10-12 years of work experience in Operations/Planning/Logistics

- Proactive, self starter, highly motivated and excellent data analytics skills

- Good Stakeholder and Team Management skills
