Associate Director - Legal Counsel

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Drafting and negotiating various corporate commercial agreements including working with regional teams where there are global agreements. The contracts could vary from Master services agreements, statement of works, amendments, Software, Subscription, Services agreements, proof of concept agreements, confidentiality agreements and other contracts with Service Providers. The individual will work closely with Sourcing and other relevant divisions for closure of the agreements

- Dealing with intellectual property related matters including copyright and other infringement related concerns, advisory to divisions wishing to use logos, names etc.

- Experience in data privacy , new labour codes

- Support Legal team to develop and maintain an optimized and efficient legal function that meets the current and future business needs;

- Design, implement and participate in projects and activities to support the growth of the company;

- Creative a positive image of company through

- Handling of Corporate real estate matters;

- Providing general legal support with respect to preparing and communication and interaction with the key stakeholders including employees, customers, vendors and appropriate government and regulatory authorities;

- Handling of DOT matters;

- Coordinating procedural documentation for general legal matters;

- Legal research matters;

- Support and knowledge of Companies Act, 2013 and other laws and dealing with governance related matters

- Perform other projects and duties at the request of the Head of Legal

Required Education: LLB, LLM (added advantage if CS degree)

Years of Exp: 10+ yrs

Required Experience: Strong contracts management, proven experience in resolving complex issues pertaining to contracts
