Associate Director - IT Infra

The Role :

- Design, plan, and implements system and network architectures that are high performing, scalable, fault tolerant, secure, and compliant.

- Provide support and guidance for the Enterprise Infrastructure environment.

- Solution design for Enterprise services managed services, IT infrastructure architecting, messaging, enterprise application sizing and designing infrastructure for applications.

- Work with various IT groups to ensure end-to-end system security in regard to data exchange between systems both internal and external.

- Establish standards and best practices for managing internal infrastructure, including network, access rights, desktops, servers, internal applications.

- Responsible for overall system and infrastructure availability and develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures.

- Maintains a schedule of formal service reviews with key stakeholders and management of the key third party providers who provide the IT operational service.

- Conducts testing and analysis of all components of network and server infrastructure components.

- Installs, configure and supports new and existing servers and network infrastructure.

- Ensures that systems, processes, and methodologies are maintained, followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.

The Skills :

- Proven track record of strategizing and designing IT networks & Infrastructure for financial services institutions

- Experience of leading overall infrastructure for a complex organization and network, including multicounty setup, VLAN setup for regulatory requirement, managing data protection, etc.

- Proven Experience in IT Infrastructure sizing and capacity planning

- Strong working knowledge of networking technologies

- Good understanding of Server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, networks, firewalls and load balancers, telecoms, etc.

- Good understanding of IT security and Data protection

- Good understanding of Cloud and mobile technology

- Strong team building and people management skills are a must.

- Experience with regulatory compliance issues, as well best practices in application and network security.
