We have an urgent requirement for Associate Director-Internal Audit to join our team. Below is the job description for this role :
Key Result Areas :
- Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations- effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
- Determining internal audit scope and developing annual plans
- Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc
Incumbent should be :
- Chartered Accountant at least 8 years post qualifications
- Worked in larger CA firms, with good exposure to leading a team
- Looking at a leadership role, leading role, and growing to be a partner in a period of 18 months
- Would work without too much of reporting, bureaucracy and someone breathing down the neck, but would have a free hand in the nature of an - intrapreneur-
Incumbent need NOT have :
- Any BD knowledge nor BD targets or sales targets
- No need of any HR management, culture ownership
- No need of collection follow up, and cash flow management
- Involvement in brand promotion, brand aware ness is not a role
- Technology, tech engagements, tools is not a role
- The above 5 points would not be a role of the incumbent

- Responsible to lead team for the delivery of the overall operations metrics
- Responsible for the development of the operational talent pool by optimizing the skills of the team
- Motivate and effectively manage Operations performance in the process to ensure delivery of overall targets and business plan.
- To have a well-defined Communication and Engagement model in place to ensure all teams understand the performance of the business and also understand needs of their teams.
- Setting and reviewing Quality performance standards
- Client Management with Goodwill building
- Experience in managing large clients and engagements
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- To proactively maintain regular engagement with key client contacts in line with client expectations
- Ability to demonstrate achievement of results e.g., business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation
